Discover Me UK's 1st Artist: Alice Ede

UPDATE on Discover Me UK's 1st Artist

When Discover Me producer Jason first met Sheffield born singer-songwriter Alice Ede, she was just 16 years old. This super talented young lady began her performance career on the Leadmill stage at the annual Tramlines Festival in 2021.
Her song “Five More Streets” was one of the top 50 tracks of the year for BBC Introducing in 2022 and was labelled “A perfectly crafted pop-folk song” by BBC Introducing Host, Christian Carlisle.
In June 2023, Alice was honoured to have her single “Out This City” featured in the first episode of ‘The Full Monty Series’ on Disney+.
Shortly after, in July 2023, Alice was chosen as Discover Me UK’s first artist. For this project her original song “Minor Hypnosis” was produced by the Discover Me’s founder Jason Dasent. By the end of 2023 she was awarded “Best Unsigned Female Solo Artist of The Year” by Crags Radio, a vibrant radio station based in Sheffield.

Alice is continuing to grow her presence in the music scene with performances at venues such as The Leadmill, Yellow Arch, Alder Bar, County Music Bar and West Street Live. At present Alice is completing her first EP with Discover Me UK's producer Jason Dasent, which is set for release in the autumn of 2025.
